A historic and well-respected Social Charity based near Bromleyis currently looking for a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for maintaining standards, controls, and procedures. The role is a Hybrid role following probation

Key elements of the role include

• Assume financial management responsibility for various journals es those postings.
• Assist the Finance Business Partners by preparing journals to be posted
• Assist the Head of Financial Management in preparing management accounts for the main cost centre
• Design and deliver analysis, using advanced Excel skills and ERP system knowledge, to drive improved understanding of profitability and provide relevant analysis to improvedecision making
• Assist with preparation of annual budgets, latest forecasts as per timetables
• Assist with preparation of budgets and the monitoring and reviewing those budgets thereafter to ensure funds are being maximised,and costs are managed effectively
• Assist with the development of finance systems
• Keep abreast of financial and accounting developments and to improve your own performance, contribution, knowledge, and skills
  The ideal person will be part-qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or CIPFA, preferably with a charity background and the ability to lead and manage relationships with budget holders acting as a focal point for financial advice and support with the FD, Stakeholders, and External Auditors.
