Director of Community Engagement

SALARY circa £54,000 per annum

We are looking for an innovative and energetic Director to take strategic responsibility and leadership of Salisbury Cathedral's community engagement work.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop the community outreach work of the Cathedral which incorporates partnerships with community organisations to support the Cathedral in its aims to welcome all, develop partnerships and to become more diverse in its approach to have a positive impact on people's lives.

The ideal candidate understands working in a value driven organisation and has excellent relationship building skills with the ability to partner alongside the various stakeholders in our Cathedral community.

We currently have an underrepresentation of professionals from minority ethnic groups and global majority heritage, as such we particularly welcome applicants from these groups.
