    Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

    Operations - Technical Contract: FullTime
    Salary: £40,000 -£45,000
    Contracted Hours:

    Weare looking to hire a Multi-Skilled Engineer who has passion towork in a food manufacturing industry with electrical andmechanical qualification.

    • Able To Read andUnderstand Electrical And Mechanical Drawing

    •Interpersonal Skills

    • FMCG Experience

    •Health and Safety / Basic Food Hygiene trained

    • Must beable to work on 4 on 4 off shift pattern day and nights

    • Ability to look after all machinery on site often includingmanual handling and working at height and varying ambientcondition. i.e. freezer or boiler room

    Equipment& General Site Maintenance:

    • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on avariety of food processing machinery, ensuring optimalfunctionality.

    • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues inboth electrical and mechanical systems, implementing effectivesolutions promptly.

    • Execute repairs and replacementsof faulty components, minimising equipment downtime.

    •To deliver Plant Uptime & Maintenance KPIs through planned,preventative & predictive maintenance

    • TraceableReduction in MTTR

    • Improve OEE

    • High PPMoutput on pirana

    • Minimize Non-conformance as per theset target.

    • To action improvement work where necessaryand control waste, .i.e. time, material andresource.


    ElectricalWork:

    • Install, maintain,and repair electrical systems, controls, and wiring associated withfood production equipment.

    • Perform regular checks onelectrical panels, sensors, and other components to ensurecompliance with safety standards.
    MechanicalSupport:

    • Maintain and repair mechanical components,such as motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.

    •Collaborate with the maintenance team to address mechanicalchallenges and improve equipmentreliability.

    Automation andControls:

    • Work withprogrammable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces(HMIs) to troubleshoot and enhance automation processes.

    • Collaborate with the automation team to implement upgradesand modifications for increased efficiency.
    Safety andCompliance:

    • Adhere to health and safety protocols,ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and yourcolleagues.

    • Keep abreast of industry regulations andstandards, implementing necessary changes to maintaincompliance.

    • Remove defective equipment, ifnecessary

    • Undertaking workplace inspections andaudits


    Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance act
