Description

Edward Mann are currently supporting an expanding Accountancy Practice based in Didcot, Oxfordshire who are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant / Manager.

This role will oversee a small team, and will develop the assigned portfolio of clients.

Our client is able to offer a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee a small team of accountants

Manage assigned portfolio of clients appropriately

Engage with and continue to build on existing client relationships

Ensure client requirements and needs are met with enough assigned accountants in the team with a clear understanding of the time plan in place etc.

Support on the continued development of the team and their qualifications, if actively studying

Regular production and review of management and statutory accounts under IFRS & UK GAAP, VAT / FCA / Tax returns and support on payroll aspects.

Desirables

Previous experience in an accountancy practice is desirable

Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent), candidates who are not qualified will also be considered

Experience in producing accounts under UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS standards
