    Description

    The Position

    The O&M Security Coordinator sits within the O&M Specialist Team, providing support to the O&M team for security-related upgrades and contractual compliance across their portfolio under O&M. The overall purpose is to assist in managing the security service provisions, organising maintenance activities, system upgrades and taking ownership of administrative duties. The security services include:
  • Coordinating scheduled maintenance of security devices including alarm panels, CCTV cameras and digital video recorders
  • Preparing or obtaining quotations to repair, renew or upgrade any deficiencies identified during scheduled maintenance
  • Management of repairs and upgrades to the security systems
  • Organisation of temporary security measures . patrols, K9 units, temporary cameras
  • Monthly, annual, and ad-hoc reporting
  • The role will include supporting O&M field staff and contractors remotely and undertaking occasional site visits in the UK as necessary. Some work outside office hours may be required when necessary to support the service. Accountabilities Reporting to the O&M Security Manager, you will:
  • Monitor compliance with maintenance schedules and organise preventive maintenance tasks accordingly and highlighting anything overdue
  • Carry out administrative duties including filing maintenance reports to internal and client folders
  • Review maintenance inspection reports, compile summaries and ensure necessary follow-up actions are taken with internal and external stakeholders
  • Compile, generate and issue quotations for repairs and additional upgrade works where required
  • Liaise with sub-contractors for delivery of security repairs and upgrade work
  • Raise purchase orders and ensure invoices are issued in an accurate and timely manner
  • Tracking and manage budgets to optimise resources and spending
  • Analysis of maintenance KPIs and highlighting trends and anomalies
  • Monitor connection status of security systems and organise repairs/responses where necessary
  • Organise and track temporary security measures including patrols, K9 units, PID systems, temporary cameras
  • Maintain lines of communication with the client and key stakeholders
  • Support contractual reporting of security status to clients as required
  • Support monthly & annual reporting tasks
  • Maintaining a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other quality management tools as necessary
  • Support the onboarding of new sites and provide input for defect lists
  • Contribute and attend to department cost-saving activities and other company initiatives
  • Partially deputise for the O&M security manager when required
  • Any other duties as required by the business needs
  • Knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of electrical or security system concepts is highly desirable or alternatively a keen interest and willingness to learn such concepts
  • Technical knowledge of the relevant security technology areas would be an advantage
  • Skills
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude

  • Experience
  • A coordination or administrative background is desirable
  • Experience of maintenance procedures or operational assets is desirable
