    A Tier One Technology Consultancy seeks a highly ambitious and technically astute AWS Data Engineer to help design, build and deploy cloud-based data solutions - transforming raw data into actionable insights that inspire ingenuity

    Essential Skills & Experience:


    Design and deploy data pipelines in big data architecture using Java, Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL.Execute tasks involving scripting, API data extraction, and SQL queries.

    Proficient in data cleaning, wrangling, visualization, and reporting.
    Specialised in AWS cloud technologies for ETL, data warehouse, and data lake design.

    Hands-on experience with AWS services like EMR, Glue, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB.Capable of processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data on AWS.Familiarity with AWS best practices in data engineering, data science, and product development.

    Knowledgeable in both stream and batch processing.
    Comfortable designing and building for AWS cloud, including Platform-as-a-Service, server-less, and container technologies.
    Diverse skills in ETL, data warehouse, and Data Lake design.
    Familiarity with various tools, cloud technologies, and approaches.
    Expertise in AWS or equivalent open-source tools.
    Proficient in defining the end-to-end software development lifecycle aligned with AWS best practices.


    Benefits Package:

    Base salary:
    £32,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

    Company Bonus: 10%Pension: 11%Holidays: 25 days annual leave + option to buy five additional days per annumHealthcare: Private Medical Cover
