    Are you an organised and efficient Administrator looking for a rewarding role within a supportive and inclusive working environment? West Berkshire Council is seeking a skilled individual to join our Adult Social Care Service as an Administrator, reporting to the Administrative Officer. This is a part-time position based at our Market Street Offices in West Berkshire.

    As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the Adult Social Care Service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the coordination of meetings, including booking venues, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
  • Handling incoming enquiries and correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Supporting the team with general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the service
  • To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Proficient IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
