    Cranswick Prepared Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today's busy consumers. We are proud to have opened a brand new, purpose built, breaded chicken factory and have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.

    We're searching for Processing Line Leaders to join the site production team at the Prepared Poultry site based on Sutton Fields.

    The key elements of the role are to assist in planning, supervising, coordinating and motivating team members for production processes, in addition to certain elements of hygiene regimes and protocols.

  • Assure the production plan and deadlines are met by supervising the production processes and effectively delegating responsibilities.
  • Assure and maintain a high standard of hygiene practice and push for exceptional quality within the quality and hygienic regulatory requirements. In addition, adhere to HACCP and technical protocols, whilst monitoring progress and outcomes of all tasks.
  • Co-ordinate the transfer and correct use of all materials, ensuring full traceability is consistently maintained.
  • Find ways to save time and promote productivity by utilising staff resources to their full potential as well as plant and machinery resource.
  • Match KPI protocols.
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas and reduce waste costs where practicable and appropriate.
  • Inspire and communicate with others to participate in identifying problems and to present viable solutions.
  • Assist in the delivery of training of both new and established team members as per production, food safety and technical protocols.
  • To manage and ensure safe working practices are always adopted in accordance with health & safety policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post. Any other reasonable requests made by the Directors.
  • Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related)
  • Excellent level of attendance and timekeeping
