We are looking for an exceptional, dynamic & innovative Registered Nurse to work with the Senior Professional team accountable for the delivery of the Clinical Governance Quality Improvement Plan(CGQIP)for the Trust, including an overarching plan fordelivery, sector specific (i.e., Acute, Mental Health) and by region.


Job Purpose:


The Senior Registered Nurse, Quality & Improvement will work collaboratively with NHS Professionals Account Management Team delivering a first -class service to our clients Trusts and the healthcare sector.

Providing Leadership and guidance to both clientTrust and NHS Professionals client facing teams.


Develop working partnerships with Senior Clinicians in client Trusts managing the senior clinical relationships up to Director of Nursing/Chief Nurse level to ensure that goals are aligned in delivering patient safety initiatives.


The
Senior Registered Nurse key duties and responsibilities will be**:

  • Develop a Quality Improvement Plan (CGQIP)for designated Trusts including, training, bank staff induction & development, policy development, performance management & audit programmes.
  • Maintain and update the CGQIP in line with national guidelines and frameworks.
  • Analyse Trust feedback received about the flexible workforce for trends/patterns in complaints & concerns working with the Trust, develop improvement /training plans to address the issues.
  • Attend Trust Quality & Safety Groups / Serious Incident Review Groups where there is NHS Professionals involvement.
  • Working with the Trust and NHS Professionals wider Clinical Governance Teams monitor delivery of agreed action plans and audit to ensure sustained improvement.
  • Coach and Mentor members of Chief Nurse professionally regulated team.
  • Provide professional leadership, promoting high standards and a responsive workforce.

To work as an
Senior Registered Nursein this unique role you will need:

  • Valid NMC Pin
  • The Right to Work in the UK
  • Master's Degree or equivalent
- .Must demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge that meets the training and development requirements ofthe complex nature of the Acute and/or Mental Healthcare sector workforce, with understanding of the learning and development needs of a range ofstaff (staff groups) both junior and senior groups across the NHS & Healthcare sector.
