    The Council is embracing its ongoing journey to advance an exciting and transformative program aimed at implementing new, modern, and efficient services across our organisation.

    This comprehensive initiative encompasses a wide spectrum of projects, all geared toward delivering a more modern, task oriented, engaging, and user friendly customer experience.

    We are seeking Digital Designers to help with the maintenance and development of the Council's website estate.

    As part of these roles, you will optimise web pages for search engines and create accessible, user-friendly content that enables customers to complete tasks with ease.

    You'll advocate for a digital-first approach, emphasising online channels as the preferred access point. Working closely with colleagues, you'll ensure timely project delivery and adherence to established timelines.

    These posts will have access to the Public Services Network, if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records check at the Basic level (unspent criminal convictions).

    Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.

    In recognition of implementing this temporary measure, those who experience a pay reduction will be awarded three additional days leave (pro rata for part-time).
