    Hull University Teaching Hospitals (HUTH) are seeking a Band 6 Specialist Major Trauma Dietitian to join our diverse team. The post will also be suitable as a band 5 to 6 progression post.

    The post holder will work alongside colleagues within the Critical Care dietetic team to support the timely delivery of nutritional intervention for those admitted to the following areas:
    major trauma, critical care, neurosurgery and complex rehabilitation

    demonstrates experience working within an acute hospital setting
    BSc or Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
    Post registration training Clinical Supervisory Skills Course

    Experience of working with patients with diverse healthcare needs
    Experience of supervising/ mentoring junior staff, dietetic assistants and students.
    Able to contribute to policy standards, policies and service changes within own specialist area
    Able to critically evaluate current research Proficient use of PC/keyboard skills and working knowledge of relevant programmes and nutritional analysis packages
