Overview

2fawcett have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to join our client in Leicester on a permanent basis.

As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will work closely with the Procurement to collect and analyse supply chain data and developstrategies to ensure a consistent flow of materials and to resolve any supplier issues.


Role & Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Analyst:

  • Managing the company order sheet and perform statistical and trend analysis to identify correlations and patterns, including forecasting models for finished goods and raw materials.
  • Raising purchase orders to suppliers, bulk and componentry and continually working with them to ensure that delivery time scales are met by having weekly calls with Key suppliers and adjusting according to sales fluctuations.
  • Raising procurement work order requirement for the business and reviewing these to ensure they are in line with any sales fluctuations and provide these to the scheduler.
  • Provide recommendations to the business based on lead times, safety stock and target days to ensure items remain in stock.
  • Provide all document support for international shipping including customs and freight compliance ensuring we get our products to market on time.
  • Work with customers to ensure that all forecasts are received and collated and added to the forecast models. Ensure that these sales orders are executed to the warehouse to fulfil.
  • Monitor, improve and drive the governance of data quality by ensuring that all SKU, Supplier and BOM data is correct within NetSuite and the order sheet.
  • Develop Supply Chain reporting to have a suite of reports to support the supply chain and buying manager which fulfil the needs of the team and give time back for data analysis as opposed to creation.
  • Take responsibility and ownership to maintain service level over 97% ensuring to raise any concerns on availability to the Supply Chain and Buying Manager at the earliest opportunity.
  • Ensure a proactive approach to availability and corrective action is taken to ensure high business availability.

Requirements of the Supply Chain Analyst

  • Minimum 3 Years' experience in similar role
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
