Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated General Workshop Operative to join our team.
As a General Operative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation and maintenance of our facility.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.Duties:
- Maintain material management on racks (stainless steel, plastics etc)
- Conduct regular visual inspections of general pant and equipement and advise Supervisor of any concerns.
- Relace and top up equipment lubricant levels
- Collect metal swarf to bags and load for collection
- General use of small hand tools
- General painting and cleaning
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Carry out regular Fire Alarm tests (after training)
- Qualifications:
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Fork lift licence preferred (not essential)
