Solution Architect - O2C - Outside IR35

We currently recruiting for a Solution Architect experienced in O2C for our client who are a leading international events, digital services and academic knowledge group.

This will be on a 3 month rolling contract, remote based with occasional travel to Blackfrairs,London and Outside IR35.

Key Areas of Responsibility/Accountability

Work with the Enterprise Architecture team in Group Technology to understand the architectural strategy and principles to ensure that any solution design recommended considers / adheres to our preferred approach and objectives
Rapidly gain an understanding of the current technology platforms, integration and data architecture in the parts of our business that are looking to enhance their ordertocash capabilities. Gather and review existing architectural artifacts, engage withkey stakeholders and create new artifacts, based on architectural best practice, in order to document the current landscape. Highlight associated risks, decisions, and opportunities and make recommendations.
Establish relationships with architects, peers and stakeholder groups within the company and 3rd parties to define and iterate through target architecture and transformation plans for assigned initiatives
Own and be the primary point of contact for the ordertocash solution architecture on a goforward basis.
Own and evolve the O2C Architectural Roadmap in support of Product Roadmaps, to implement nearterm features without excessive redesign and delay.
Work with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure that solutions designed are formally input to and comply with the recommendations of architectural governance
Build relationships with a broad range of delivery teams to ensure an effective delivery of change that is aligned with the architectural solution chosen. Work with the Delivery Leads to enable the stories prioritised by the product owner
Collaborate with colleagues within Information Security and Compliance to ensure alignment between the solution architecture and the clients IT Controls framework, Information Security and Compliance
Assist with providing information or validating assumptions for planning and business cases, costings etc
