My client a leading global retailer is now looking to hire a Head of Legal - Technology to be based in Reading OR Dublin (3 days a week ideally).

Reporting into the Global General Counsel, in this newly created and global role, you will lead a team of lawyers and play a key strategic and operational role for this fast growing business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Sitting on the Legal leadership team helping to drive strategy
• Leading a team of high performing lawyers advising the business on all things technology and digital related
• Drafting and negotiating an array of high value and often complex technology related agreements

The ideal candidate will likely have 15+ years pqe, and have trained at a top law firm, before moving in-house for a well known organisation in a technology focused role. You will ideally have experience of managing a team and playing a strategic and operational role. The successful candidate will be a self starter, able to shape a role and you will be an excellent communicator able to influence and effect.
