We want to be the water company people want to be supplied by and want to work for.


You'll take up this important role to ensure the works completed by our field teams are being planned and finished as efficiently as possible.

You'll liaise with Contractors and Plumbers to help them meet their objectives. You'll assign work to field staff based on operational requirements, work priorities and workloads.

An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using IT systems to keep records and work systems updated will be important.


You'll arrange customer appointments, follow up to ensure repairs have been completed to satisfaction, monitor reports to ensure processes and timescales are followed and will coordinate the work of the team.

Previous experience would be useful but isn't essential. What's really important, is that you can manage different priorities and enjoys working under pressure. No two days are ever the same here. You're self-motivated, well organised and willing to go the extra mile to deliver the best results.

What will you mainly be responsible for delivering?

  • Assigning work to field staff based on operational and commercial requirements, work priorities and field team workloads.
  • Helping to prepare daily work information packs for contractor gangs and plumbers.
  • Using our IT system (maximo start centres) and reports to monitor and manage operational and commercial workloads.
  • Liaising with the field teams and plumbers to ensure customers needs are being met.
  • Ensuring all of the required plant and streetworks notices are in place for work to be carried out.
  • Organising reinstatements to meet deadlines determined by customers and Streetworks notices.
  • Keeping customers engaged to ensure they are kept up to date with any changes or variations that occur in works being completed.
  • Liaising with other South East Water departments to provide operational information, work progress and details to help resolve customer complaints.
  • Work as part of the Waterlink team to ensure all targets and objectives are being met, assisting other areas of the department when required.
