    We are currently seeking a proactive and diligent School Site Assistant to join a school based in Southampton on a temporary to permanent basis.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the school site.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Conducting routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the school premises.
    Assisting with health and safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations.
    Monitoring and managing stock levels for cleaning and maintenance supplies.
    Responding promptly to any maintenance or repair issues as they arise.
    Undertaking minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
    Supporting the setup and breakdown of equipment for school events and activities.
    Collaborating with other staff members to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors

    Requirements:
    Previous experience in a similar role.
    Strong practical skills with the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
    Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
    Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
    A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
    Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to school environments would be advantageous.
    Willingness to undergo relevant background checks
