We are delighted to be partnering with a leading national business who now have a newHR Business Partner role opportunity available, due to continued growth through business transformation.

You will ideally be based in the Midlands or M4 Corridor so thatyou can travel to sites as needed.

Working as part of a wider HR team you will partner with your own designated (geographical) client group area and provide support to broader group as and when required.

You will have a key strength in managing various projects such as embedding company culture in a structured yet inclusive way.

Given the HR function is established you will have the opportunity to support continuous improvement and added value to support employeeengagement.

This role will see you as a key part of the team where you will play a key role at regular management meetings where you will deliver workshops and training to managers as well as contributing to the operational input at these meetings.

You will be commerciallyastute and quickly able to demonstrate the value you add.

You must have proven stakeholder management skills in order to be successful in this role which will require you to build credible and lasting building relationships, which will be a key catalyst in influencing and driving culture change within the business.

You must be comfortable with complex ER cases and also have a proven background of working with the unions.

We are seeking a commercial HR professional who have hands-on, practical approach and can thrive in a busy and diverse environment.

You will be expected to plan your time and travel across your designated area, spending 2-3 days per week minimum out in thebusiness.

HR Business Partner - About you

  • You will need to have experience of working within a blue collar environment, with a diverse workforce
  • Used to a blended role where strategic and operational influence are both key
  • A proven background of working with unions.
  • The ability to work autonomously, to prioritise your time
  • Demonstrable skills in terms of up skilling and coaching managers
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • A true generalist HR Business Partner background
  • Ambitious and keen to progress
