About the role:


Senior Associate - NGP

Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire

New Growth Platforms is a start-up within the Hygiene BU, created with the objective to provide commercial products under the Reckitt Pro Solutions brand, as part of Global Business Solutions (GBS), and to rollout our consumer products to the under-served or unserved, as part of the Global Expansion Market (GEM).

This role will be responsible for leading the rollouts of products within the GEM Americas + Caribbean business. You will be the lead for the delivery of key projects and initiatives under the New Growth Platforms (NGP).


Your responsibilities:


  • Lead as the R&D expert on GEM Americas + Caribbean initiatives, working as part of crossfunctional GEM team to deliver key projects (rollouts, new claims, demos, etc).
  • Work cross functionally in partnership with internal collaborators, e.g. Regulatory, sales and marketing.
  • Lead the compilation of technical data packages as part of regulatory dossiers.
  • Complete testing to support new claims, benchmarking, etc, within the Hull laboratories or through internal or external partnerships.
  • Liaise with external partners when needed.
  • Work extremely closely with commercial functions offering direct technical advice to our sales team and directly to our customers at events.

The experience we're looking for:


  • Educated to degree level in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
  • Leading projects in a technical capacity.
  • Midlevel R&D professional, (or experience in a related function or industry) with an agile, startup mindset.
  • Ability to build strong networks and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good attention to detail, with solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to prioritise projects and tasks whilst maintaining good quality of work and achieve deadlines.
  • The capability to define, evaluate and manage risks.
  • Have a truly global mindset with the role covering the various territories and countries.
