We have a great opportunity to join our RS PRO Team as a Content Programme Executive


The purpose of the CPE role is to use customer data, supplier insight and competitor benchmarking to drive a competitive commercial advantage for RS and the supplier's brand through our content.

Through the transformation, creation, and implementation of content solutions.

To deliver content that guides customers, anticipates, and answers customers' questions, enhances the online experience, and provides our customers the confidence to purchase RS branded products and services.


This position is available on a 12 Month Fixed Term contract and offers hybrid working where you can work from home or in our Corby offices.


About the role

  • Identifying, scaling and prioritising content improvements
  • Using quantitative and qualitative data, competitor research and customer insight to find content opportunities, then quantifying the potential benefits to drive prioritisation.
  • Understanding the route to solve customer problems and improve the digital experience
  • Balancing the need to meet minimum viable content standards to enable customer success with the need to delight and influence customers.
  • Delivering the content improvement
  • Creation of a Brand strategy, user focussed and SEO copy; manipulation and normalisation of data; creation of briefs to create videos; building further tobedefined cutting edge content to differentiate RS Components with customers
  • Understanding the impact of changes made
  • Measuring the performance of impacted pages (products, nodes, guides, etc) to understand if expected benefits (hypotheses) have been met, taking learnings into consideration for future prioritisation for the Enrichment team. Reporting of metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Identify content opportunities to deliver an optimised customer experience
  • Prioritisation of opportunities using data and insight
  • Creation of compelling, customer focussed and SEO copy
  • Improvements to the customer search and browse journey through taxonomy and filter changes
  • Working alongside other teams to deliver content such as, but not limited to, visual, audiovideo content; product guides, selector guides to deliver an overall improved customer experience.
  • Measuring and understanding the impact of changes to improve future decision making

What we're looking for

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Digital experience (e.g., Content, eCommerce, SEM, SEO or Onsite/Offsite Search)
  • An understanding of content and the online customer journey
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Good analytical skills, with a curious mindset, including experience with digital reporting tools (Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Searchmetrics, BrightEdge or equivalent)
  • Data driven storytelling and visualisation skills
  • Ability to advise actionable insights based on data
  • Experience in matrix environments with cross functional teams
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Passion for delivering great customer experiences, with an appetite to innovate, measure and learn
  • Passion for delivering a great customer experience and driving strong commercial results
  • Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Collaborative approach
