Bailprint Labels Ltd produce self adhesive labels mainly for the food industry.We are looking for a Part time Operations Supervisor to join our team. The role has been created as a result of continued growth and future expansion plans.
The role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the QMS and H & S compliance. The role is key in delivering BRC/ISO/H&S objectives and compliance against systems, standards and policies.
We set very high standards for ourselves, our customers and our colleagues and this role is key to keeping the standards where we want them.
Quality
To maintain, audit and improve the quality management systems in order to ensure full compliance with company accreditation.
To ensure that all processes relevant for the QMS are documented.
To undertake all administrative duties and general functions of the QMS.
Keep abreast of current regulations ensuring regulatory changes are reflected in the documentation and procedures comply with BRC/ISO standards.
Raise, review and close out non-conformances and customer complaints.
Approve and review suppliers.
Improve and maintain factory standards.
Conduct internal audits.
Along with the external consultant assist with all external audits for BRC and ISO.
Health & Safety
Introduce a robust Health & Safety policy.
Ensuring that the company and the employees comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
Providing appropriate guidance to minimise hazards.
Completing risk assessments.
Manage and resolve any accidents and near miss investigations.
Carry out safety inspections, fire tests and alarm drills.
Skills
A self-starter with strong organisational and communication skills.
High attention to detail.
Able to take responsibility and ownership.
Experience of BRC/ISO 9001 standards.
Experience of managing a QMS within a manufacturing environment.
Prior experience of Health & Safety would be beneficial.
Hours
Salary
Pro rata - Dependant on experience.
