Lead andmanage the Maths department, ensuring the delivery of an outstandingMaths curriculum
Provide instructional leadership and supportto Maths teachers, fostering a culture of high academic achievement
Monitor and assess student progress in Mathematics,implementing effective strategies to support their learning
Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver engagingand innovative Maths lessons
Mentor and support Mathsteachers in their professional development, providing guidance andfeedback
Contribute to the school's Maths program andextracurricular activities
Maintain accurate records ofstudent performance, attendance, and behavior
Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) orequivalent, Specialization in Mathematics or a related field,Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education(preferred), Extensive experience in teaching Mathematics, preferablyin a leadership role, Excellent knowledge and understanding of theMathematics curriculum, Strong leadership and management skills, withthe ability to inspire and motivate a team, Excellent communication,organization, and problem-solving abilities, Commitment to ongoingprofessional development and staying abreast of the latest pedagogicalapproaches in Mathematics education
