Description
You will be working as part of a small team to perform manufacturing functions in accordance with the relevant EXHEAT standards and certification procedures.
We are looking for skilled assemblers and general operatives. You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions and understand technical drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision, which is extremely important.EXHEAT is a globally renowned designer and manufacturer of electric process heating and control systems. Our experience in the design of electric heaters for use in hazardous area locations is second to none.
Our complete range of custom-engineered process and immersion heaters, together with our standard product portfolio which incorporates immersion heaters, room heaters and thermostats have extensive IECEx, ATEX and CSA certification.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
- Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
- Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
- Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications.
- Align material and put together parts to build more complex units.
- Check output to ensure highest quality.
- Maintain equipment in good clean condition.
- Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience as an assembler would be preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Technical knowledge and ability to read drawings and adhere to procedures.
- Ability in using tools and machines.
- Good understanding of quality control principles.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent handeye coordination and physical condition.
- Health and safety conscious.
