Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting a successful Essex/East London based services business who are in need of a new Financial Controller to head up the finance function helping to support business growth and profitability.


Working with the CEO, a few key accountabilities & deliverables

  • Working with the senior management team in formulating strategy and long term plans._
  • Preparation/Submission of Annual Statutory Accounts Pack including liaising with Auditors._
  • Responsible for overall financial control and day to day reporting._
  • Lead & develop the finance team._
  • Lead and manage the budgeting process._
  • Full management of Statutory reporting and month end requirements_
  • Full responsibility for all management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management_
  • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance._
  • Leading all necessary reporting, producing relevant MI for Director level_

A few requirements in order to be considered:

  • Fully qualified accountant
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA_
  • Relevant senior finance experience and sufficient PQE_
  • Team Management experience_
  • Team player with a positive cando attitude_
  • Strong IT skills_
