A people's-favourite, independently owned gastro pub with a traditional twist, is looking for a talented Assistant Pub Manager to join their team in Binfield.

They have experienced recent growth, and they are excited to have you join their established pub so you can progress your career with them

This restaurant has always been a focal point for the village of Binfield, conveniently situated between Binfield and Warfield, and has for many years been known for its fine fare and hospitality.

They hope that you will find this long tradition of qualityfood, fine beers, and great service to your liking.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsibility for customer management and the daytoday operation of the establishment
  • Contributing to the overall achievement of business goals; ensuring consistent standards of service are maintained
  • Contributing to the profitability of the pub through the monitoring of revenue and budgets, management of the team, and maintaining effective cost controls
  • Creating an environment where the team is motivated & encouraged to maximise sales
  • Proactively encourage development and motivation for self and others.
  • Support the General Manager with all back office and administrative duties.
  • Management of the health & safety policy and compliance processes.
  • Understanding of relevant H&S legislation and the implications on operation, specifically including HACCP & COSHH

Required Skills:


  • Passion for hospitality and a desire to work handson and with the team during service, and in particular during busiest shifts
  • Previous experience developing, implementing and maintaining company standards
  • Good command of the English Language and excellent communication skills
  • Exemplary people management skills
  • Able to deal with difficult situations and remain professional at all times
  • Courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
  • Standards driven and detailorientated with the ability to organise and plan ahead
  • Ability to lead, multitask and make sound decisions in fastpaced environment
