Description
Our client, based in West Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Officer on a permanent basis.
The position is site based and due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for this position is £35,000.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Implementing the company health and safety policy within the department, ensuring all department operations are conducted in accordance with said policy
- Developing, implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures in line with legislative and company requirements
- Providing efficient and responsive information and advisory service to managers and employees, regarding various aspects of human resource such as disciplinary, grievance and performance issues, to ensure matters are resolved effectively
- Conduct investigatory meetings to obtain accurate information relating to disciplinary or grievance issues, in line with legislation and company procedures, and write reports following the matter
- Managing the recruitment and selection process, regarding specific vacancies as allocated by the HR manager
Expertise required:
- Experience of doing investigatory HR work and writing reports
- Full clean UK driving license with access to a car
- CIPD qualified level 3 or above (desirable)
- Have experience of working in the manufacturing sector or an equally fast paced, hands on environment (desirable)
