I am actively looking to engage a Transport Supervisor (Aggregates and Asphalt) for an exciting new opportunity in Shepshed in Leicestershire.

The opportunity as a Transport Supervisor (Aggregates and Asphalt) will be working for one of the leading companies in the supply chain and logistics sectors.

With over 1,000 vehicles stationed at sites across the UK, my client is one of the fundamentalplayers in the sector.

Description
As a Transport Supervisor (Aggregates and Asphalt) you will report into the Transport Manager on a daily basis and focus on the following key areas:

Managing a team of 6-10 planning and transport co-ordination staff.
Proactively routing and design solutions for a fleet of 50+ vehicles
Analysing production and logistics capacity plants from numerous plants.
Communication between commercial, haulage partners and production staff.
Administer all transport and logistics legal compliance as per management instructions
Liaise with transport managers daily, as well as collaborating with other departments to optimise services/deliverable.
Administration and production of management reports
Perform additional duties as required
