Job Introduction:
As part of a fast-growing department, we are looking for a Head of Production to be key member of film department with an equal measure of leadership, business acumen and a love for strong creative.
The right person can balance creative with organisation, helping the teams to be able to produce their best work.
We need someone to help foster strong relationships with global production companies and talented individuals, and our internal team. This person is a team player, equally able to think big picture and live in the detail. They will play a key role in creating relationships across the Institute.
An exciting opportunity for somebody looking to make impact in a business quickly, to excel in the role you will need strong experience in driving new processes, upskilling relevant team members, and updating platforms and services where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning and production of all campaigns, still photography and digital brand content. Develop budgets, hiring, creating schedules and managing client expectations
- Manage projects from brief through creative development, shoot and post production
- Connect directly with clients, through briefings and creative reviews
- Source creative, production and post production teams to take projects through development and execution
- Negotiate fees, contracts and timelines for freelance staff
- Create staffing plans, workback schedules and timelines while managing the workflow and resources for all productions
- Manage internal production staff and oversee all freelance team members
Person Specification:
- Roster of freelance crew and talent
- People management experience
- Stong familiarity with budgeting
- Possesses a positive, respectful attitude
- Significant experience at an agency, production company or inhouse at a brand
- Has extensive post production experience, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Excels at fair negotiations
