Rev Up Brands is looking for a new member to join our busy Procurement Team as a Purchasing Assistant.

The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for assisting and supporting the Procurement team in a wide range of workstreams.


To be based from our offices in Newton Abbot, if this sounds like your perfect fit, then read on for the fuller specification.

You will;

  • Approve purchase invoices for accuracy, raising and resolving queries promptly
  • Develop and sustain good relationships with all key points of contact, with a focus on suppliers.
  • Manage component suppliers to ensure agreed lead times are adhered to
  • Liaise with component suppliers for regular updates concerning purchase orders due in the business
  • Monitor component stock levels, ensuring factories are never waiting for components
  • Record fabric levels at CMT factories and replenish and reorder where needed to meet demand
  • Raise orders and communicate the requirements of the business to factories in line with their own production capacity and capabilities.
  • Receipt stock into the ERP accurately as and when required.
  • Overall administrative support for the procurement department as and when duties are assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A-Level or equivalent Qualification
  • Proven administration skills
  • Excellent numeracy
  • IT literate particularly MS programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Selfmotivated and able to work on tight time scales
  • Knowledge of the dance industry and products would be advantageous but not necessary.
  • Strong communicator
  • Works well under pressure
