- Establish and maintain the product backlog and release schedule
- Work with the product manager and the development team to estimate, refine and break down features ready for development
- Perform detailed analysis of features to facilitate effective and rapid knowledge sharing with the development team
- Oversee the development of features to ensure that the dev team has the detail they need and that the implementation is correct and complete
- Act as an authoritative source of information about the detailed functionality of the product for internal consumption (e.g. training others, performing demos, testing new releases, identifying and raising issues)
- You should have at least 2 years experience in a related role
- Familiarity with agile methodologies gained through project experience
- Agile estimation, prioritisation and release planning
- Building and maintaining a product backlog
- Ability to write great user stories
- Knowledge of how financial institutions source and use external data (e.g. market, reference, economic etc) would be an advantage

This role serves as a critical connecting link between the product manager and the development team. Commercial direction and product/market alignment sit with the product manager. Technical decisions sit with the development team. The technical product manager owns the space in between.
