£18,180 - £19,936 per annum (£ £11.92 per hour)

Hours:
Full time hours per week - Between operational hours of 08.00am pm Monday - Friday


Term Time only, plus training days

New _
SEN School staff team, we are aiming to be open September 2023.


This is an exciting time to join Care Perspectives Ltd as we look forward to the opening of our _new_ SEN School (New Perspectives School) and continue to expand and grow our provision in the West Midlands.

New Perspectives School is a small independent SEMH specialist day school for key stage 2-5, catering for students with social emotional and mental health difficulties, who may have a range of complex needs.

Job Summary (Day to day duties but not limited to)._

  • To be the first point of contact for all visitors and communication into the school
  • Ensure the required visitor protocol/sign in procedures are adhered to.
  • Responsible for managing the school reception, answering telephones calls, ensuring the reception area remains professional at all times.
  • To manage a meeting room electronic booking system
  • Manage inbound and outbound mail and distribute post and packages received on a daily basis to the relevant members of staff.
  • Providing a wide variety of Administration tasks to the school to include administering the school electronic management systems for our pupil's.
  • Administering the pupil referral process & database
  • To administer student files and staff files within a robust timeframe & in line with GDPR
  • To administer student admission paperwork and admission register
  • Prepare letters,reports and other notes and correspondence as required.
  • Liaising with parents and carers, a range of professionals and members of the public
  • Support with all other administrative tasks: Finance and procurement as directed by School Business Manager

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • At least 12 years' experience within an administration role
  • A relevant qualification in administration
  • You will need to be flexible & adaptable in your approach to working and be confident in taking on new Administration tasks as and when required as directed by the School Business Manager
  • Competent in a range of IT systems, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • You will be calm, engaging, resilient, enjoy working as part of a team, and be genuinely motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.
  • Have a high standard of literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills
  • A 'Can do', positive approach to work.
  • Excellent people skills
  • Ability to work ndependently and as part of a team.
  • Observe a code of strictest confidentiality at all times.
