Job Description:


Working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

This is a hybrid working position with 2-3 days in the Wolverhampton office.

  • Streamline the onboarding journey for new starters, ie. clarifying travel, compensation and training packages.
  • Off board departing employees ie. check all company equipment returned to manager and administration of training costs and clawback process, if required.
  • Liaise with HR to ensure Group annual data requirements and submissions are processed with the correct requirements.
  • Track Company Car / Car allowance packages to ensure that the correct mileage rates are claimed.
  • Central point of communication/tracking for all financial cost code changes.
  • Administration for benefits such as but not limited to: Death in service claims, PMI scheme, cash plan, benefits portal, pension forms correspondence, and Cycle to work scheme approvals.
  • Support the Payroll Manager/FD in the annual renewal of the PMI scheme, with a view to aligning existing schemes.
  • Green car scheme project launch.
  • Support Central HR team with
    holiday purchases/sell process.
  • Support Expenses team with collation and review of BIK information and filing P11D's.
  • Reviewing claims for employee visas and immunisations.
  • Approve orders of gift vouchers and reconciliation, including the PSA1 tax return.
  • Audit of employees driving for work purposes and company car return process.
  • Apprenticeship Levy administration and promote usage.
  • Sponsorship licence administration and upkeep of scheme requirements.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience working in a similar environment, i.e., payroll/expenses and company benefits
  • Knowledge of HMRC payroll legislation and salary sacrifice requirements
  • Knowledge of expenses and benefit entitlements would be advantageous
  • Computer literate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Selfsufficient and able to prioritise own work
  • Can work to strict timelines to ensure deadlines are met
  • Confident with the ability to communicate and engage at all levels, verbally and in writing
  • A desire to thrive in a role that requires a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude towards change
  • Able to work in a secure and confidential environment
  • Willing to offer occasional flexibility in your hours of work where necessary to meet deadlines
