- Investigate and address any reported ethical violations or concerns.

- Monitor and report on governance practices to the executive team and board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance best practices.
- Lead and oversee the bid compliance process, ensuring all bids and proposals meet client, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure bid submissions are accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Stay up to date with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards related to bidding processes.
- Identify and assess legal and compliance risks associated with business operations.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate risk factors, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between the legal department, other departments, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal and compliance considerations are integrated into business decisions.
- As head of legal, you will provide high-quality legal services to Transdev UK.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to Transdev's management and operational teams to ensure compliance with contracts and legal requirements.
- Advise the CEO on legal issues relating to business opportunities, negotiate and draft contract documentation and internal legal procedures and review internal corporate policies.
- Provide proactive and engaged leadership on key projects designed to manage legal risks, increase revenues, reduce costs and commercial risks.
- Assist and advise Contract Managers on contractual rights and obligations.
- Ensure that corporate contracts are properly authorized, approved and executed and that documents are collected, catalogued and available for use.
- Identify legal claims against Transdev and manage legal cases in which Transdev may become involved, ensuring that legal claims are properly defended or settled.
- Advise on legislative changes or court rulings affecting the company.
- Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, or related field (master's degree preferred).
- Professional certification in compliance or governance is a plus.
- Proven experience in legal and compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional writing abilities.
- English full proficiency is required.

- Full time role based at our Manchester Airport office [M22 5TG].
- Visits across UK can occasionally be necessary.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required to ensure projects are delivered on time.
