    As a member of the Analogue and Digital Capability Group, you will have a fantastic opportunity to work on advanced technology and contribute to the design and development of high-quality electronic solutions Job Title : Digital Electronic Engineer Salary : Circa £53,000 depending on experience Location : Stevenage, Bristol or Bolton (we may be able to offer a relocation package for this role) Dynamic (hybrid) working : We trust our people to agree, within their teams, where and when they can be most effective. Our Dynamic Working policy allows individuals flexibility around the hours they work and where they work. Security Clearance : British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship . Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. The opportunity: You will collaborate with renowned experts in the field and participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept to production.
    • Undertake board level design around FPGA and SoC associated power and control circuitry
    • Connect with advanced RF systems and broader missile sub-systems
    • Develop electronic technical solutions in collaboration with other skill domains
    • Ensure robust electronics design using common development techniques
    • Conduct proving activities to ensure compliance against requirements
    This role will cover the Product Life Cycle from concept through to transfer to Production, including support to industrial validation and ensuring that the product meets its quality, rate and cost targets. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated and technologically advanced projects, allowing you to improve your technical skills and broaden your leadership capabilities. You will join a team of individuals who consistently demonstrate strong motivation and dedication in a friendly and encouraging environment, providing an excellent platform for personal development and career progression. Additionally, there may be opportunities for international travel and collaboration with diverse teams. Additional Opportunities:
    • Technical Leadership - Lead the resources deployed to a project within a single skill domain
    • Team Leadership - Delegate activities from the Group Lead for the team
    • Telemetry Specialist - Share extensive expertise in a specific domain/type of product, responsible for providing mentorship and leadership within their recognised area of technical knowledge.
    What we're looking for from you:
    • Significant experience in Electronic Design, development and delivery.
    • Experience in leading significant electronic design work packages
    • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and understand the associated challenges
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of electronic technologies
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated capability to effectively communicate with individuals from various departments. within the organisation
