    Compliance Officer at Asset Finance Company in London

    If you're seeking a thrilling opportunity to join a rapidly growing Asset Finance client, you're in luck! They are on the lookout for a Compliance Officer to be part of their Governance team. This role comes with the chance to dive into various compliance and operational risk activities, evaluate policies, procedures, and controls, and stay updated on regulatory changes. Additionally, you'll get involved in project work and enhance their reg tech platforms.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with current and future FCA requirements.
    • Develop and manage compliance policies and training.
    • Support data protection compliance.
    • Monitor and interpret new regulations, addressing any gaps.
    • Conduct file checks and report findings.
    • Review marketing materials in line with FCA guidelines.
    • Administer the Company's policies register.
    • Assist in FCA returns submission.
    • Maintain the Risk Management System.
    • Conduct monthly reviews of risk incidents.
    • Assist in preparing submissions for committees and external parties.
    • Oversee data impact assessments.
    • Manage Subject Access Requests and data analysis.
    • Handle conflict of interest processes.
    • Attend industry forums.

    Competencies:

    • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
    • Awareness of Conduct Risk.
    • Understanding of Risks and Controls.
    • Experience in financial services.
    • Knowledge of AML policies, data protection laws, and FCA regulations.
