Our client is a well-established an recognised leader in their sector - providing a range of talent management and business/leadership support to a number of high profile organisations across a number of sectors.


You'll be a confident and experienced finance professional, with the ability to work as part of a highly aspirational, professional and enterprising team.

This is a 2-3 day week role with flexibility to work hybrid once up to speed. There is also flexibility with hours worked.

You'll have responsibility for managing the month end process in Finance and supporting the Business Administration team. Reporting into the MD with a dotted line into a part time CFO.

Day to day duties and responsibilities:

  • To prepare and present monthly and quarterly consolidated management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, with meaningful analysis against budget and updated forecasts, as required in a timely manner and presented to appropriate professionalstandards
  • Liaise with the external accountants to coordinate and prepare the annual statutory accounts.
  • Provide analysis and support to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team
  • Take responsibility for the accounting processes
  • Maintain financial system to ensure accuracy of management information to include management and financial accounts
  • Assist in preparation and consolidation of Budgets working with the Business Units.
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Management of auto enrolment pension scheme
  • Run the internal stax payroll and calculate commissions (P11Ds, PAYE Settlement scheme and the administration holiday purchase scheme, childcare vouchers and other available via Salary Extras)
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and manage the relationship with external finance providers (desirable experience of working with CID facility)
  • Support cashflow management
  • Credit control
  • Understanding of billing processes within NHS and NHS Framework (desirable but not essential).
  • Maintain process documentation for all Finance tasks and ensure sharing of knowledge across the Finance team.
  • Manage and develop the Finance Team (2 staff to oversee)
  • Provide cover for Temp Payroll and Billing team members
