    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a Teaching Assistant you will:

    • To assess the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupils' learning.
    • Within an agreed system of supervision, plan and deliver challenging teaching and learning objectives and evaluate and adjust lessons/work plans as appropriate.
    • To provide feedback to pupils and colleagues in relation to progress and achievement.
    • To encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.

    As a HLTA you will:

    • Teaching Assistant Duties as detailed above, and ability to cover classes, plan and teach your own lessons.
    • To assess the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupils' learning.
    • Within an agreed system of supervision, plan and deliver challenging teaching and learning objectives and evaluate and adjust lessons/work plans as appropriate.
    • To provide feedback to pupils and colleagues in relation to progress and achievement.
    • To encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Ideally have your own transport to enable you to get to a variety of schools.
    • Experience within a school.
    • Good behaviour management.
    • Supportive, enthusiastic and committed.
    • IT literate.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
