E-Commerce Assistant - Bank

About the role


We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Bank team in developing our online presence, an autonomous role helping us to make the most of the amazing donations we get daily.


Your day will involve

  • Duties involve identifying suitable goods for sale online.
  • Uploading products on to appropriate online marketplaces, responding to online customers and ensure goods are dispatched within appropriate deadlines.
  • Providing excellent customer service to encourage positive reviews as well as managing Gift Aid processes.
  • The role will uphold the agreed quality standards required to ensure the effective operation of the online department including compliance with trading standards regulations.
  • This role will also work with and support colleagues in our retail outlets

About you
We are looking for someone with

  • Working knowledge of using Ebay and other online marketplaces, as well as knowledge of online marketing and advertising.
  • The ability to demonstrate good IT skills as well as excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • They should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of Gift Aid processes would be advantageous.
  • This role is physically demanding, so you will need to be physically fit and have a good knowledge of manual handling.
  • Be able to plan your own workload, working in a safe, compliant, and efficient way.
