As a Nursery Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in shaping young minds and creating a nurturing environment for their growth and development.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing manner.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of ageappropriate activities.
  • Ensure the wellbeing, safety, and hygiene of the children at all times.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment.
  • Follow nursery policies and procedures.
  • Be punctual and reliable for shifts.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
  • A passion for working with children and helping them develop.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different age groups and personalities.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of child development and safety procedures.

Job Types:

Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Part-time, Full-time


Salary:
£11.75- £13.75 per hour


Ability to commute/relocate:


  • Liverpool, Merseyside: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:


  • Driving Licence (preferred)
