    SEND Teacher - Empowering Learning, Lewisham

    Empowering Learning is searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join the team in Lewisham. This opportunity offers the chance to have a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.


    Key Requirements:

    • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
    • Experience: Demonstrated experience in teaching children with autism and other special educational needs is essential. Experience with other special educational needs is highly valued.
    • DBS: An enhanced child and adult DBS on the update service is mandatory.
    • Skills: Strong behavior management skills are essential.
    • Personality: We seek a dynamic, approachable, and innovative individual capable of maintaining a secure and interactive learning environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide top-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to students with SEND.
    • Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
    • Implement effective behavior management techniques.
    • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to aid each child's learning and growth.
