Partner Markets Manager - Bristol, United Kingdom - Homes England
![Default job background](https://contents.bebee.com/public/img/bg-user-ex-1.jpg)
Description
The Markets, Partners and Place (MPP) Directorate leads Homes England's delivery of major projects in priority places alongside development of new opportunities and projects.
Our priorities include Garden Settlements and projects that achieve Transformative Urban Regeneration throughout England. The Directorate also leads our response to devolution and the establishment of long-term partnerships with Combined Authorities via our Strategic Place Partnership (SPP) model already in-place with Greater Manchester and now being rolled out across other Combined Authority areas.
The launch of the Strategic Plan, implementation of the Blueprint announcement of the Brownfield Land and Infrastructure (BIL) fund, and emergence of devolution throughout England all represent opportunities to make a real log-term difference to our communities and we want the best people possible to be part of that change.
The role will be covering our the South West (covering Devon, Cornwall and Somerset) region, working with partners in that patch ensuring that priority projects with those partners get delivered.
You will be a part of a team that has responsibility for delivering some of the Agencies most important and ambitious development and infrastructure projects that achieve transformative regeneration as well as housing growth.
The South West Regional office is in Bristol but a flexible home working arrangement could be possible for the right candidate.
We are focussed on unlocking thousands of homes across the region in sustainable, well-designed communities. We do this by supporting the coordination and delivery of complex, large-scale regeneration projects. We work collaboratively with local authorities, central Government and leading private sector partners. This is an exciting role providing the opportunity to participate in the regions most transformational regeneration projects and work in partnership to meet the demands and challenges of a unique part of the country.
In line with our place-based working practices, we focus on specific locations in the South West where regeneration and housing delivery is most needed to address acute social challenges, including deprivation and housing supply shortages.
Our mission is to accelerate the delivery of high-quality homes in these locations, whilst also supporting economic growth through regeneration.
You will be part of a friendly team that ensures regeneration and housing growth delivery occurs in our priority places by working with internal and external stakeholders.
This means developing projects that meet both the ambitions of partners and our new Strategic Plan but also develop business case propositions to draw-down available capital funds in an innovative and problem-solving way.
Your role is to ensure that projects happen.Homes England :
The Housing and Regeneration Agency
We believe that affordable, quality homes in well-designed places are key to improving people's lives.
As the government's housing and regeneration agency, we create thriving new places and transform urban areas, combining the full breadth of our powers, expertise, land, capital and influence to bring investment to communities and get more homes built.
We form long-term partnerships that bridge the gap between the public and private sector to meet local needs and aspirations.
We use our influence to champion the creation of sustainable homes, communities and places that are brilliantly designed for the people that live there now, and in the future.
And we use our funding and support to build a more resilient, diverse and innovative housing sector, helping new entrants in the market, encouraging modern methods of construction and design, and promoting the utmost attention to building safety.
Together with our partners, we're accelerating the pace of house building, remediation and regeneration across the country, as we seek to deliver ever more affordable homes in places people are proud to call home for generations to come.
As well as a competitive salary and 33 days annual leave, we are committed to 50/50 hybrid workingInternal applicants:
please note that if you are successful, the salary you are offered will be in accordance with our pay controls and pay policy.
If you ever need a bit of extra help, we have a great employee assistance programme, financial wellbeing support and access to many great discounts with leading high street names.
Our range of network groups are also there to support you to be yourself at work and play a key role in helping shape our future.
If you are a member of a professional body, we'll pay for your membership and once you get your digital kit, you'll be good to go.
Homes England are a geographically diverse community. We work to a 50/50 office/ home based model.Moving back into our office environments has enabled us to utilise our space and time together in the most collaborative way.
We would encourage all applicants to apply as soon as possible as we may close vacancies early should we receive a high number of applications.
We also encourage you to apply using the full application option as opposed to quick apply, this is especially important if you would like to indicate to us that you would like to be considered under the disability confident scheme.
