Role - Export Sales Executive

Reporting - to the Export Sales Manager

Salary - Up to £35K PA depending on experience.
**Based from the HQ office Yorkshire

  • Humberside area**This Prestigious company with a strong heritage and premium brand is recognised as a household product and a major market leader in their category across the UK.
They are looking for an experienced export sales executive ideally with 1-2 years' experience within the export FMCG market.

You will be fluent in negotiating and know how to be creative and innovative with your promotional plans.

Responsibilities Include:


  • Supporting the Export Sales Manager in developing, defining and implementing the export growth strategy for the company.
  • Create and manage a network of distributors within your specific region.
  • Identify and drive new export business opportunities in line with the companies 5year Export strategy
  • Identify and implement route to market whilst also challenging your current distribution partners.
  • Manage an agreed portfolio of accounts to maximise volume, product distribution and profit.
  • Develop and implement annual account plans.
  • Agree, implement and evaluate promotional activity once internal sign off has been received.
  • Adherence to foreign market export regulations
  • Attend and participate in trade events, exhibitions, and conferences both domestic and overseas.
  • Establish good working relationships with the customer base.
  • Complete all administration on time and in full.
  • Ensure frequent and accurate trade intelligence is reported.
  • Make sure Export loads are checked and signed off before they leave site. This will be supported by images of each pallet.

Essential Requirements:


  • At least 12 years current experience of Export Sales Management within the branded FMCG sector
  • Previous experience of negotiating prices and driving innovative promotional strategies
  • A current passport with no restrictions and the ability and aptitude for extensive foreign travel.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • A full and valid driving License.
  • Working with EPOS data to effectively manage sales volume, value and forecast demand.
  • Flexible attitude, clear strategic thinking, and attention to detail.

Desirable
- we would look at someone with 1-2 years Key Account Management experience within FMCG, looking for that next step.

Additional foreign language skills at business level would be ideal but not a necessity.
