- Serve as an approved trainer/assessor in routine husbandry procedures.
- Perform the role of a Named Animal Care and Welfare Officer (NACWO) or other Named Person under relevant legislation.
- Provide technical expertise and conduct training at customer or company sites.
- Hold a granted Home Office Personal Licence.
- Take responsibility for breeding and maintaining genetically altered animals.
- Conduct tissue biopsies for genotyping and administer hormones to aid breeding.
- Assist the veterinary team with surgical interventions and treatments.
- Manage animal inventory allocation to fulfil customer orders.
- Oversee procedure schedules to ensure Home Office compliance.
- A Home Office Personal Licence, completed internal assessor training, or hold higher-level responsibilities.
- The ability to coach and mentor others effectively.
- The ability to accept alternative solutions to problem-solving, listen to others' ideas, and challenge the status quo to ensure optimal outcomes.
- This is a physical role requiring manual dexterity.

Role Overview:
As a Licensed Animal Technician you will provide top-tier animal care through a variety of advanced duties including animal husbandry, observations, technical procedures, and various laboratory tasks.
You will have significant experience working with multiple animal species in diverse operational areas, offering flexibility and expertise.Additionally, you will support, mentor, and train other staff members and hold a Home Office Personal Licence for regulated procedures or higher-level responsibilities.
