Warehouse Staff for Lost Property

Full time, Temporary position

London Marylebone Station (NW1 6JJ)

Hours of work:
A rotational basis between Monday - Saturday. Shifts to be either, 08:00 - 15:00 or 13:00 - 20:00.


We are currently looking for a Customer Service Operative (Lost Property) to join a team of railway station staff based at Marylebone Station.

Your job role will involve dealing with customers and carrying out duties throughout the station platforms.


Typical tasks could include:

  • Manage and process lost property received at all Chiltern Railway sites
  • Liaise with all Chiltern Railways locations to collate and collect Lost Property
  • Manage and organise Lost property items ensuring clear systems are upheld
  • Maintain adequate level of knowledge to use the lost property system and associated systems
  • Adhere to lost property policies and procedures
  • Log all lost property items and contact owners identified
  • Provide a highly visible and professional appearance at all times.

Experience & Skills required:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing.
  • Flexibility to carry out a variety of tasks at any time as requested.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Be able to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative when working unsupervised.
  • Be open to working additional or different hours to contribute to the smooth operation of the station.

Job Types:

Salary:
£9.50 per hour
