    Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

    Location: Grimsby

    Salary: £80.00 – £90.00 Per day

    Start date: ASAP

    GSL Education is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Lincoln who is searching for flexible, short or long-term work. This position is to assist the class instructor in the classroom as well as work in small groups, encouraging students, reading/writing, and providing interventions for those students who require more assistance. This position would suit someone who is enthusiastic about assisting children's learning.

    As a Teaching Assistant, you would need to plan interesting and stimulating activities for students while also guaranteeing their safety and promoting their learning and growth. This includes assisting the teacher and maintaining high levels of support for the children's education.

    The successful candidate will have the following:

    • Experience in Key Stages 1 and 2 is preferred.
    • Comprehensive understanding of the UK's primary school system.
    • Have a Teaching Assistant qualification (for example, CACHE Level 2 or 3).
    • Be enthusiastic and eager to assist with teaching and learning.
    • Have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
    • Have a strong desire to see Primary School students succeed.
    • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Have exceptional classroom management abilities.
    • Be able to effectively communicate with students, colleagues, and parents or carers.
    • DBS update service or desire to apply for a DBS through GSL Education.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with classroom management, maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
    • Develop and implement effective learning strategies in collaboration with the teaching team.
    • Assist the teacher in the planning and delivery of engaging classes.
    • Creating an engaging learning environment for kids.
    • Attending meetings, briefings, and activities at school.
    • Liaison with parents, schools, and outside agencies to guarantee adequate social, emotional, and intellectual advancement.
    • Assisting with classroom activity planning and preparation.
