We are looking to recruit a Security Guard to join our clients established company based at Cambridge Biomedicial campus in South Cambridge.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing business and develop your experience further. The role is a full time, permanent position offering job security and opportunities for career progression.

Flexible shift system - 6 days per week

3 x 12 hours day shifts + 3 x 12 hour night shift - 3 days off

24/7 cover, 7 days per week


Benefits: 20 days holiday, pension scheme (after qualifying period), day off for your birthday, training bank account, free secure parking.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the security of the clients companies' premises and will be required to work with other team members and individually to ensure the safe running of the building


Key Responsibilities:


  • To ensure that the site is safe and nonthreatening environment
  • Carry our regular patrols of the site in a timely manner
  • Maintaining a "Visual security presence"
  • Ensuring all incidents are managed in accordance with site policies and procedures
  • Be professional, pleasant, friendly and helpful at all times whilst carrying out duties to the highest levels.
  • To ensure exemplary standards in personal grooming, strictly adhering to the site uniform requirements
  • Site jobs as required
Previous experience is essential, full training will be provided.

SIA guarding licence preferred but not essential.
