The role


You will provide exceptional quality technical and general administrative support to the Chartered Financial Planner and the Financial Planning team.

This is a demanding and important role, the right person will assist in delivering an outstanding holisticfinancial planning service to new and existing HNW clients, who typically have complex planning needs

Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Client servicing and meeting preparation.
  • Work with the Chartered Financial Planner and Financial Planning team to deliver the highest possible level of client service, consistent with developing and maintaining outstanding longterm relationships
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings where requested, taking detailed written notes and following up on any administrative or technical points after the meeting
  • Use appropriate systems and processes to assist with the submission of new business to providers
  • Prepare all necessary and relevant documentation for client
  • Liaise with product providers to ensure all processes are completed accurately in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of accurate client portfolio valuations and statements using Intelligent Office
  • Complete and assist with trades and portfolio rebalancing, as required
  • Close plans correctly on Intelligent Office in a timely manner and ensure income expectations are settled, if relevant
  • Deal with complex and technical client queries as directed
  • Assist with the preparation of Voyant cashflow models in advance of client meetings if required by the Private Client Director
  • Ensure all client information is accurately maintained on internal systems (iO and Volume)
- _Adhere to FCA Compliance and company procedures, GDPR, AML and risk management_
- _Organise diary meetings and general administration such as directed by private Directors and team._

Experience and Qualifications

  • Switches
  • Experience with Voyant cashflow models
  • Producing comprehensive and clear suitability letters
  • Technical administration role, involving direct contact with third parties
  • Have experience of using iO (or an equivalent system) to perform an administrative role, as well as the required product and process knowledge to carry out the role effectively
  • Have excellent IT skills, being highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages. A good working knowledge of Excel will be an advantage
  • Demonstrate excellent written communication skills and a highlevel of attention to detail
  • Have sufficient understanding of the needs of Financial Services teams, and FCA rules and compliances, in order to effectively carry out the role
  • Relevant industry qualifications will be a distinct advantage.
  • You will be expected to work to pressing deadlines, being personally resilient, in a fastpaced environment, prioritising workload and managing complex client needs.
  • Demonstrate focus and motivation in delivering an exceptional level of customer service to clients, third parties and colleagues
  • Demonstrate sound professional judgement, the ability to work well under own initiative, and a commonsense, innovative and solutionfocused approach to problem solving
  • Be punctual, presentable and professional at all times.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK with checkable work history.

Location:
Flexible between either Weybridge, Surrey and/or Clerkenwell, London and Home-based


Salary:
£30K - £35K dependent on experience.

Full benefits are also available, together with a discretionary bonus scheme.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, office hours 9am to 5.30pm.


It may be necessary to occasionally work outside of normal office hours in order to meet the demands of client meetings and pressing deadlines.
