Description

Our client is a leading specialist manufacturing firm, who as a result of significant growth need to appoint an additional member to their maintenance team.

This is shift based role, rotational day & back, for which a health shift allowance is offered.


We are seeking A multi-skilled electrical biased engineer who can work safely on all types of equipment -Electrical, mechanical, hydraulics & pneumatics to ensure plant, production equipment, site services and facilities are maintained to the highest levelin order to minimise downtime.


Specific duties will include:

  • Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance safely on production plant and equipment ensuring production (and site) downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Ensure routine maintenance schedules are complete on time every time
  • Install new equipment where required
  • Work as part of a team to ensure projects are complete effectively and on time
  • Continually improve current factory installations (equipment plant & lighting)
  • Support others within the maintenance team
  • Support other departments


It is expected that you shall hold electrical certification ( 16,17th or 18th Edition), be time served, and have experienced working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plc-controlled manufacturing equipment.
