About the role
Please be aware this role is being offered as a 12-month Fixed Term contract.
Join our Supply Chain team who are responsible for owning the end to end management of our supplier partners.
This team plays a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with our suppliers, whilst actively developing and implementing plans toensure supply continuity across the company.
- Maintain supply continuity whilst identifying any risks, and developing plans to mitigate these risks.
- Be the 'voice' of Paxton and be a primary contact for specific suppliers.
- Research the Supply Market, and Supplier attributes with the ability to identify any opportunities and maximise value for money.
- Learn and develop your knowledge on Supply Chain market structures and technologies.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, supplier capability and build robust plans and solutions to meet business objectives.
- Coordinate sourcing and selection of new requirements and suppliers for associated categories.
- In conjunction with the Category Lead, build and develop category strategies linked to business needs to exploit Supply market opportunities and deliver value and improved Quality for Paxton.
- With the Category Lead, drive execution of agreed category strategies and plans, communicating impact and monitoring benefits.
