Description

Design and manufacture of these systems is based at the facility at Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire which is part of a worldwide company with headquarters in Houston, USA.

Key areas to learn / training:

  • Set up and operates machine tools, fits and assembles parts.
  • Hold very close tolerance at times.
  • Learn to study and understand specifications such as drawings, sketches or descriptions of parts.
Have gained a minimum of 4 GCSE grade C or above, with preference of DT and Maths.

Good communications skills, work well as part of a team, innovation and problem solving.
